Colin’s lessons were always fluid, structured, relaxed and professional. Using the LDC Driving skills workbook was the optimal way for me to learn, as I always had a say in what I wanted to achieve from each lesson this allowing me to progress at my own pace. Colin used a question and answer system in his lessons instead of continually telling me how to do everything. Colin was a great instructor, having started with him as doing a week intensive course. He encouraged self learning in preparation for my test using the workbook which was easy to understand. He taught lessons in a calm environment and a manner which was easy and helpful to learn from. The LDC system makes passing your test easy and would recommend Colin and LDC driving school to anyone.

Colin was always a supportive instructor to me, when I was in the earlier stags of my lessons he would show ne how I was progressing and would give me something to look at or watch in preparation of the next lesson. I enjoyed the aspect of being in control when learning new skills, Colin would guide me on what to do beforehand, but when it came to the driving I was in full control which was something that I enjoyed. When it came to the latter stages of my lessons and towards mock tests, Coin would always go over with me on what to expect for the test and after every mock test, he would run through any mistakes I was making so I could rectify them for the next time. The biggest thing I appreciated was the constant and consistent support in the build up to my test, giving me various sources of information to help control my nerves, and giving me the support and encouragement necessary in order to build my confidence. Overall, I think Colin has been a great instructor to me and I would highly recommend him to any new learners getting started.

We heard about Colin through a recommendation from someone who'd learned with him before and choosing him turned out to be a great move. From day 1 right up to Isobel passing her test, Colin was always patient, friendly and managed to make every lesson enjoyable. We could really see Isobel's confidence grow and she always felt comfortable with Colin's teaching style. Following Colin's advise we held off on taking her out for private practise until Isobel had good confidence in the basic controls and handling of the car. Colin's focus wasn't just to pass a driving test but to create a confident driver - and he succeeded. If you're looking for a driving instructor, we'd definitely recommend Colin!
